Black Ops 2 New Update 1.07/1.007 Adds More Security on PS4, PS5
Iron Galaxy has released a new game update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on both PS4 and PS5 today, August 14. This is another security update, but there are also some additional features added as well.
Players will see the download file as Black Ops 2 update 1.07/1.007, and this should be a small download.
While there are new quality-of-life features added, the main thing here is the added security, which should help in combating hackers who are trying to ruin the experience for everyone else.

Today’s update includes the following changes and additions:
▪️ Additional security updates.
▪️ Added toggle for Depth of Field visual effects in Custom Games.
▪️ Various UI fixes, including one for an issue that could occur after adding friendly & enemy bots in Custom Games.
▪️ Addressed a rare issue that could occur in Free for All if the final kill was with a Combat Axe.
▪️ UI setting options now adjust automatically if platform level UGC settings are enabled.
That’s about it, and this is the best we can hope for given this is a super-old game. The fact that it’s getting support at all is surprising to see.
