Call of Duty Warzone Player Count Reaches Over 50 Million

warzone cheaters

In news that shouldn’t really shock anyone, Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Warzone player count has now reached over 50 million players to date! This is for all platforms, and regardless if it’s a F2P game or not, this one amazing feat.

This isn’t that surprising given Call of Duty is possibly the most popular gaming franchise in the world, and Call of Duty: Warzone is free. Combine the two and you have a recipe for success that we’re seeing unfold right now.

I’d say a warm congratulations are in order, but I don’t doubt this number will continue to rise over time. Can Call of Duty: Warzone topple Fortnite? I would ‘t be surprised if it does.

In other Warzone news, Infinity Ward has just enabled Trios in the game once more, and Duos is coming sometime in Season 3 too. Make sure to bookmark our Call of Duty: Warzone game hub for the latest Warzone news.

I have a PS4 from about 4 years ago. Not a PS4 Pro. I found CoD Warzone on SONY’s Playstation Store and started downloading Warzone. It’s about 109 gigs of content to download. I have a fast cable wired internet connection with very low ping from my provider. But as noted in the gaming media before… the Playstation Store and the PS4’s slow internet access, makes downloading Warzone a miserable 36 hour wait time farce! The older PS4 is known for crappy internet access.

When I do a PS4 internet connection test on my PS4… it only shows a fraction of the real internet speed I have. My PS4’s Nat 2 is correct. The PS5 better fix this PS4 download speed debacle… or I’ll pass up on buying a PS5… and stay on Mobile gaming only in the future!! This isn’t a problem for my Apple iPad! If the brick and mortar games stores like GameStop are being forced out of business… and downloading games is the only choice I will have… this could be a serious problem, to have any reason to keep gaming on the PS5!

Specifically the wifi cards in the ps4 are bad, but both PS4 and pro support 1GB ethernet cable speeds. You’ll never really get close to that on the PS4 though as whatever Sony does makes tha connection drop. At most AI’ve gotten 400MB, but my cable net is spoty as is.

The PS5 needs to invest in a good wifi card for sure though, and sony needs to make a better structure

Good info. Thanks. My PS4 is hooked up to my Cable network by a Ethernet wired cable, so I should get the best connection. I don’t use wifi ever. Every other device I have, downloads content very fast… movies and music and my new Smart HDTV has no problem. My iPad downloads big games in minutes. My Mac computer has no problems with downloading either. Just the PS4 is slow. I called SONY support… and it’s a known problem on the original older PS4’s. My friends with a PS4 PRO have better results with downloading. Oh well… maybe the PS5 will fix this.
