While we already posted what an alleged PS5 devkit (development kit) looks like back in October, we now have a clearer view of the unit! Shown below is a PS5 devkit image that shows two units sitting comfortably next to each other.

As you can clearly see, it even has a DualShock 4 controller plugged in, which is most likely substituting for the PS5 controller until Sony is ready to unveil it. If you find the PS5 devkit ugly, remember that most devkits look completely different from the actual retail products. For developers/studios, Sony doesn’t really need to make it look appealing when sitting on desks or shelves, and focuses more on functionality than aesthetics (check out the vent on that bad boy!).
Will the PS5 retail unit look similar to this? I highly doubt it, but given a choice, would you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
