Call of Duty: WWII Claims Christmas #1 in UK Charts, PUBG Xbox Version Enters at #4

Call of Duty 2021

It’s a very, merry Christmas for Call of Duty: WWII! The game has claimed yet another week at the top of the UK charts, keeping FIFA 18 and Star Wars Battlefront II at bay. Even the extremely hyped PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds couldn’t compete, entering into the charts at fourth place.

1 – Call of Duty: WWII

2 – FIFA 18

3 – Star Wars: Battlefront II

4 – PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

5 – Assassin’s Creed Origins

6 – Super Mario Odyssey

7 – Grand Theft Auto V

8 – WWE 2K18

9 – Mario Kart 8: Deluxe

10 – Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

Gfk Chart-Track bases its statistics on physical sales, so it’s likely that a whole lot of PUBG Xbox players bought the game digitally, when considering how it sold 1 million copies within the first 48 hours after launch.

Are you surprised to see Call of Duty: WWII doing so well in the UK charts? Or is the game simply just that good? Let us know in the comments below.

In other gaming news, it looks like two Battlefield games are currently in development, one by DICE Sweden and one by DICE LA; completing Star Wars Battlefront II‘s single-player DLC earns players some nifty rewards, and PUBG‘s creator wants “better protection” from copycats.
