Relic Entertainment and Sega have announced that their upcoming RTS Company of Heroes’ release date has been delayed to February 23, 2023 on account of shortcomings in development and player experience.

The latest entry in the real-time strategy Company of Heroes series was announced back in July last year. Company of Heroes 3 once again returns to the franchise’s WW2 setting and four playable factions at launch and two unique single-player experiences.

The game received a November 17, 2022 release date this July, but that no longer holds true. The game’s developers have pushed its release back to February next year, as they believe the game does not meet requisite quality standards and needs further optimization.
