Remember Dead Island 2? Announced way back in 2014, the game has undergone one of the most turbulent development in gaming with multiple changes in studio. Well, it seems the game is still on the way, as the Dead Island 2 release date has been listed for February 3, 2023!

This release date and info has been leaked by Amazon’s listing of the game (via Wario64), which also includes screenshots and the game’s box art!

No word on whether this February release date is a placeholder or not. Could Dead Island 2 be one of the reveals slated for gamescom this month? Possibly so, and once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.
Dead Island 2 is now being developed by Dambuster Studios, which is part of the Deep Silver company. Deep Silver is a division of Plaion, and is also part of the companies that Embracer Group owns.
