death stranding 2

In a recent exclusive interview, it appears that Norman Reedus has inadvertently confirmed Death Stranding 2, and that it is currently in development. An earlier report months ago revealed that the sequel is currently in negotiations, but now it appears that the game is all but confirmed. While the interview isn’t exactly regarding video games exclusively, Norman Reedus did share more about his current projects which brought up Hideo Kojima’s upcoming sequel.

The interview comes from Leo Edit, and you can check out the transcript below:

Q: Okay, so you got the book going on, you’ve got the final season coming out, then the spinoff, and you’re filming Death Stranding, the video game.

NR: We just started the second one.

There you have it. The rest of the interview goes mostly the way of Reedus’ other projects, but fans will be glad to know that Death Stranding 2 is indeed in development. By the looks of things, it looks like development is just being started on, which is interesting to say the least. Acording to recent reports, Kojima Productions is currently undertaking two different projects, and if the Death Stranding sequel is one of them, it will be interesting to speculate what the other is.

In the meantime, you can read more about Kojima Productions’ two future projects here.
