Destiny 2 Reaches 1.2 Million Concurrent Players, Bungie Says “Thank You All So Much for Playing, Guardians!”

We knew that Destiny 2‘s opening weekend was going to be huge, and now we know just how huge! Bungie revealed on their official Twitter that the game has hit 1.2 million concurrent players. That is, 1.2 million people all logged onto Destiny 2‘s servers, all at the same time!

It’s worth bearing in mind that this has been achieved with just the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, as PC players won’t have a chance to play until October 24. All the more impressive, then!
