With Destiny 2 coming to PC, it’s understandable that some people might want to buy the game on Steam given the digital store platform’s popularity. While Activision announced that Destiny 2 will only be available on its own Battle.net storefront, Destiny 1’s “Silver” currency popped up on Steam recently that got some people to snatch it up and believe Destiny 2 is Steam-bound.

Sorry, Destiny 2 fans! Destiny 1 Silver being available on Steam was just an error and won’t be actually be happening even. This was confirmed by Destiny 2 Community Manager David “DeeJ” Dague over on Twitter.

And just to drive the point harder, DeeJ tweeted that Destiny 2 will only appear on Battle.net and nowhere else for PC gamers.

Destiny 2 will be available on PC on October 24, with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions hitting sooner on September 6.

In related news, Activision Blizzard has once again rebranded Battle.net for a second time.
