Earlier today, Bandai Namco announced the Dragon Ball Fighter Z release date, which made a lot of people happy given it’s about a month earlier than what was known previously. If that wasn’t enough, the publisher also revealed the Dragon Ball Fighter Z Season Pass details as well.
Over on Twitter, the official Bandai Namco account revealed the details with the main draw being the eight new playable characters coming to the game post-launch.

If you can’t see that, the Dragon Ball Fighter Z Season Pass will be priced at $34.99 and include:
- Eight new playable characters for Dragon Ball Fighter Z
- Each fighter comes with respective stamp, lobby avatars, and alternate colors
And that’s basically it. Right now, assuming Bandai Namco doesn’t add any more fighters to the Season Pass, we’re looking at $4.37 for each character (overall price rounded out to $35), which is either expensive, or a steal depending on how much you play the game.
It is looking fantastic though, and given Arc System Works’ pedigree, the gameplay should match the visuals when it comes to playability.
