dying light hellraid release

While Dying Light 2 is already confirmed to be on the way, that isn’t stopping Techland from releaseing more Dying Light 1 content! The studio announced the Dying Light Hellraid DLC with a new trailer.

Dying Light’s new DLC Hellraid will be your ticket to Hell and back No, it’s not a metaphor. You will be literally hacking through demonic hordes of Hell. It all started with an arcade machine survivors found in the Tower’s basement while investigating an odd power outage. None of them could remember seeing this strange device ever before. They moved it upstairs, unaware of its true nature. Dying Light – Hellraid is coming to PC, PS4™, and Xbox One this summer. Stay tuned for more info!

For those unaware, Techland announced Hellraid as a first-person fantasy-based game. It seems that title is officially cancelled and is instead reworked as Dying Light DLC!

Here’s the oficial word from Techland:

Get ready for a completely fresh Dying Light experience! Based on Techland’s unreleased first-person fantasy slasher Hellraid, this paid DLC will expand the game with a dungeon map full of new enemies for you to slay with a variety of brand-new weapons. Whether you delve into the depths of Hell alone or join your friends for an exciting co-op will be up to you.

In other Dying Light news, don’t forget, a new patch was released earlier today. Will you be getting this Dying Light Hellraid DLC later this year? Once we know more details about it, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

This should have been made as a preorder bonus for dying light 2. It would have been a great way keep the fanbase busy until release. I’d be far more excited to play with the new engine than have to dust off old installs for light content.
