EA: Battlefield 3 Sold 8 Million Copies

With just over one month after release, Battlefield 3 is a force to be reckoned with.

At San Francisco’s Baird Technology Conference, Electronic Arts’ CFO, Eric Brown, announced that Battlefield 3 has reached 8 million copies sold in five weeks. In term of shipped copies, EA has distributed to retailers 12 million copies. It’s worth noting that EA sold 5 million copies in the first week and shipped 10 million.
