FromSoftware has released the Elden Ring update 1.04 patch, and this is following the big 1.03 title update that was released a few days ago. This is a small download, and we’re not expecting any new features, but rather, bug fixes that weren’t addressed in the previous title update. Read on for the Elden Ring March 18 patch notes.

Update: According to update history on the PS4, this patch is to address some errors related to text. Should there be any additional changes spotted from the community, or any official update is provided by FromSoftware, we will be sure to update this post.

Unfortunately, FromSoftware has not addressed the new patch just yet, though we’re hoping this fixes the trophies/achievements issue, crashing problems on PC, multiplayer bugs and the like.
We’re assuming (hoping) that this fixes the question mark bug for PC gamers as well, so no workaround is required.
Once the full patch notes are out, we’ll be sure to update the post. If you spot any gameplay-related changes, leave a comment below to let us know.

First souls game?
Works in other souls games because there’s no reason to summon people after the bosses in those, they’re much more linear. Elden Ring is trying to be much more accessible though and it’s an open world game, why can’t I approximate and explore the world with a friend because I killed a dude on a horse?

In the other games you either had to farm them by doing co-op or farming them from mobs that had a low droprate because the co-op Item (embers in ds3) were finite from vendors. They’re craftable in Elden Ring. Consider yourself lucky to even have the option
the 1.04 patch is causing my game to stutter every 3-5 seconds, and it freezes for like a second to 5. The game is completely unplayable now.
when you can no longer buy something, i think it should make a diffrent sound.
with this patch you made the bloody slash take a little to much damage. could we back it up a bit. With boss fights its super hard to use now. takes to much health when you are most likely to get hit casting it as well.
The bless dew talisman needs to raise more hp than what it does. you cant even notice it raising health really.
when you can no longer buy 10 items of something, the few you can buy should be at a dicounted rate. not full price.
On the map. there should be a botton to remove all beacons as well.
you should still be allowed to swing your weapons and fight or heal when there is an item waiting to be accepted by you or if there is dialogue. I have died a few times because of this. i Love that you can run off and accept it though but you should still also be able to fight and heal.

You’ve probably cleared the area boss(es) if all bosses in an area are complete then you can no longer multiplayer there unless the other person hasn’t completed the bosses yet.
there needs to me a way to veiw your main quest and side quest from your menu and be able to place a beacon on the map for them. make it more user freindly.
Also there are ashes of war that you cant place on multpile item that should be able to, like parry. I put parry on a sheild and forgot about it. Then went to put it on a diffrent sheild and thought i didnt have it. the option was not there. went to the shack and it says i bought it. i thought it was a glitch. took me like 30 min to figure out that a shield in my chest had it and to remove it.
I can’t summon my friends or get invaded I can be summoned and I can go invade others why can’t people come to my world? Any help??
