Fallout 76 Skyline Valley Content Drop Releases June 12; Bethesda Confirms It Will Be a New Season
The next major update for Fallout 76 is due out in a few days! Bethesda has announced that the Fallout 76 “Skyline Valley” update will be released on all platforms this June 12. Read on for details on the update’s content and what to expect.

In Skyline Valley, FO76 players will be able to explore a wholly new region showcasing the rolling hills of Shenandoah. The update will also feature a new storyline that introduces vault dwellers of Vault 63 and discover a shocking new Ghoul type, The Lost.
In this upcoming expansion, players will encounter a new enemy type, a supercharged Ghoul with electrifying weapons and armor and expose their mysterious origins. Through chasing storms in Dangerous Pastimes, a new Public Event, and battling a new Region Boss, the Storm Goliaths, it’s raining new content and stories to play with Fallout 76: Skyline Valley.
Players will also be able to purchase The Lost Treasures bundle for Skyline Valley as well.

Available at Skyline Valley’s launch, the Lost Treasures bundle includes the all-new Vault 63 Power Armor paint and jetpack. Also included is the V63 Chassis Display Frame for your power armor, a Moe the Mole Plushie and a Vault 63 Door Display for your C.A.M.P. Change the weather in your area with the Weather Control Station and, if you dare, stand out in a storm holding the Lightning Rod Pose and get zapped!
In addition to that, Bethesda has also confirmed that this title update on June 12 will also usher in Season 17! This confirmation was made by Bethesda employee “Ghostly_Rich” in the game’s subreddit.

In the new season, players can expect to learn Archery, roast marshmallows, dissect a frog, go swimming and canoeing!

COMBAT BALANCE CHANGES
- Removed a hidden -50% damage debuff from all two-handed automatic melee weapons
- The following mods now add 60% elemental damage and reduces physical damage by 40%:

– Chinese Officer Sword
– Shepherds Crook
– Sheep Squatch Staff
– Sheep Squatch Club
– Hatchet
– Assaultron Blade
– Revolutionary Sword
– Baton
– Vault 63 Shock Baton

– Chainsaw
– Auto Axe
- Chainsaw Dual Bar mod damage bonus reduced from 100% to 50%
- Minigun Shredder mod damage bonus reduced from 100% to 50%
- Increase the unmodded damage of the auto axe by 20%
- Cattle Prod now does a split of physical and energy damage and does 20% more damage in total
- Union Power Armor should now be craftable by players who have the recipe
- Powerhouse of the Cell: Players are now notified the serums cannot be injected while in Power Armor
- Powerhouse of the Cell: Fixed an issue where the serums could not be injected in certain conditions
- Powerhouse of the Cell: Hallucinations now vanish correctly when the effect ends
- Oldest Trick in the Book: The “Kill Cultists Standing Guard” objective has been removed
- An Unlikely Invitation: Minimum level requirement has been changed from 20 to 25, so newly emerging dwellers are not presented with the quest immediately
- An Unlikely Invitation: Quest stages are no longer skipped if a player joins a team where the leader has made further progress
- Seeking Shelter: Fixed timing issues with Audrey’s dialogue
- Double-Crossed Wires & Oldest Trick in the Book: Fixed an issue where Hugo could be hard to find if partial progress was made on both quests.
- Dangerous Pastimes: [Start Event] has been added to the dialogue interaction
- Eye of the Storm: Fixed an issue where the boss battle could become soft locked
- Neurological Warfare: Storm Goliath no longer spawns parts on the ground
- Neurological Warfare: Fixed an issue where the Storm Goliath attacks were not triggering certain perks correctly
- Fixed an issue where Margaret’s voice could be heard in various areas
