Final Fantasy 16 Collector’s Edition Unboxing Shows Off Valisthea Cloth Map & More

Square Enix has released a Final Fantasy 16 Collector’s Edition unboxing video, showing off all of its special content and merch items including a cloth map of Valisthea and a Phoenix vs. Ifrit figurine, and has revealed additional bonuses and in-game items that will be available for those who purchase the Collector’s Edition of the game.

Final Fantasy 16 Collector’s Edition, priced at $349.99 (38500 yen in Japan) will include a physical copy of the game and the following special items:

  • Special box decorated with art from legendary Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano
  • Figurine depicting Phoenix and Ifrit fighting
  • Metal Eikon pin collection (8 pins)
  • Cloth world map of Valisthea (the setting of Final Fantasy 16)
  • Special Clive Rosfield steelbook case
  • In-game item: “Blood Sword”
  • Digital Mini Artbook
  • Digital Mini Soundtrack
  • In-game item: “Scholar’s Glasses” (buffs the amount of experience gained when equipped)
  • In-game item: “Braveheart” (Early purchase bonus)
  • In-game item: “Ketsy’s Lucky Charm” (Early purchase bonus)

“Ketsy’s Lucky Charm” is an accessory that increases the amount of gill received when equipped.

The Square Enix version of Final Fantasy 16’s Collector Edition lists the following as limited pre-order bonuses:

  • The Realms of Valisthea Wall Banners (6” height printed cloth banners)
  • Final Fantasy 16 Pre-Order SteelBook® Case

Meanwhile, Japanese retailer Seven Net’s version of the Collector Edition has a different set of limited pre-order bonuses:

  • Clive Rosfield pixel art luggage tag (Size: about 100mm x 120mm, Material: PVC, paper)
  • In-game item: “Lonely Battle” sheet music (can be set as BGM within the game)

In-game item codes can be redeemed until 11:59 PM ET/8:59PM PT, December 31, 2030. Signing into the PlayStation Network is required to redeem these codes along with an active Internet connection.

Final Fantasy 16 launches June 22, 2023 as a PS5 exclusive. Check out the new gameplay revealed at The Game Awards in December, showcasing summons, combat, and story elements.
