Epic Games has released Fortnite update 1.000.125 on all platforms, and this minor update brings a fix to the quest progression bug that’s been bothering players. The confirmed known issues are also listed below to know what the dev team is looking into right now.

Has the Fortnite Quest Progression Reset Bug Been Fixed?

So far, this patch seems to have done the trick, and players shouldn’t be seeing this issue crop up anymore (yay!).

Outside of today’s fix, here are the known issue the dev team has acknowledged via the official Fortnite Trello board.

Fortnite Known Issues (Feb. 13):

GENERAL TOP ISSUES:

  • Arrow selectors are missing in the settings
  • Private games still show as Public
  • Players may be sometimes unable to Ready Up in Team Rumble and Party Royale.
  • Player icons may not update in the friends menu.
  • Hamburger Menu may not open on mobile devices

LOCKER TOP ISSUES:

  • Shuffle Loadout option missing
  • Byte’s face may warp strangely

BATTLE ROYALE TOP ISSUES:

  • Players sometimes crash when opening their Map.
  • Characters are temporarily not able to be hired.
  • Ranked Solo Zero Build activation schedule is 1 hour behind of what is stated in the game.
  • Splinter Assignment: The Ooze War Punchcard appears twice
  • The D-Pad on controllers may not work after a match on the post-match screen.

LEGO FORTNITE TOP ISSUES:

  • Players can’t assign “Refine Wood” task to Villagers
  • A hole in the world may form in an Ice Cave
  • Dynamic Structure parts may displace and shift when moving fast
  • Players can get stuck in the terrain and build parts when loading into their World
  • Players may experience controller vibration when another player performs an action that triggers their own vibration.
  • Consumable buff timers can be overwritten when eating another consumable with a buff
  • Starting Location sometimes far away from resources.
  • Villagers exploring with players may destroy structures while trying to harvest.
  • Other players may spawn into your world far away from you
  • Keybinds Not Saving

ROCKET RACING TOP ISSUES:

  • Painted OEM wheels only display the base OEM wheels when previewing them in Giftbox
  • Occasionally after skipping the Rocket Racing trailer, screen turns black and is unresponsive.
  • Ranked quests show incomplete after reaching the next rank.
  • Tracks sometimes have unexpected collisions
  • Player may be forced back to lobby from Post Match when a friend attempts to Late Join Players Ranked Races
  • Default outfit will not update/change when selecting other experiences upon returning to lobby
  • Vehicle appears blurry at start of race
  • Console and Mobile players may experience hitches while navigating Discover Menu
  • Boosts do not appear previewable in the Locker on mobile devices

FORTNITE FESTIVAL TOP ISSUES:

  • Jam Stage Mixers – Players need to equip Jam Tracks before hopping into the Jam Stage to access songs and start making music.
  • Audio Stuttering On Switch After Extended Play
  • Not seeing any songs available upon launching Fortnite Festival Main Stage.
  • ‘Toggle’ custom keybind interfering with ‘Open Songlist’

SAVE THE WIORLD TOP ISSUES:

  • Increase in crashes in Save the World
  • View Distance Rendering
  • Preset does not appear as equipped
  • The headshot explosion perk may not be working as intended
