Fortnite Update 3.25 Released, Changes & Datamined Content Listed for v17.30 – August 3 (Update)

Epic Games has released the Fortnite update 3.25 patch today, and this is what the studio calls the v17.30 title update, and this brings new fixes, and of course, new content that can be datamined to feature what’s coming this week and beyond.

This update should somehow integrate Ariana Grande’s in-game concert happening this August 6.

Same as with other planned Fortnite patches, today’s title update was released during server maintenance.

The official Fortnite Trello board has not been updated yet, and it will in a bit, and once it does, we’ll be updating this post with the listed fixes for each mode.

General:

Xbox players may be unable to re-subscribe to Fortnite Crew.

Update
We’ve added some in-menu options for Xbox players who encounter an error message when trying to re-subscribe to Fortnite Crew. This includes suggestions on what may be required to re-subscribe successfully.

Description
Xbox players may be unable to re-subscribe to the Fortnite Crew due to any outstanding balances on the account. The UI may catch players in a loop and will need to be resolved via Xbox’s account management website.

Workaround
Resolve any outstanding balances or payment issues on your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/services

Some Wraps do not display properly on the Show Your Style Set.

Description
Some Wraps with Reactive or Animated elements may not display properly on the Show Your Style set. We have fixes coming for all currently known issues in future builds and will continue monitoring as new reports arise.

Radio not playing in vehicles.

Description
The radio inside vehicles may not play.

Unable to perform Last Forever Emote.

Update
Though previously marked as “Fixed in Live,” we’re aware that players may still be unable to perform the Last Forever Emote. We are working to address this.

Description
Players may be unable to perform the Last Forever Emote after selecting it.

Battle Royale:

Vehicles driving erratically, caused by player in control being in Prop state.

Update
With the release of v17.30, vehicles can no longer be interacted with if the player is in a Prop state.

Description
Vehicles can drive erratically, caused by the player in control being in a Prop state.

Workaround
Cancel the Prop disguise before driving a vehicle.

Cosmic Chest timers may remain on screen if a Bounty is poached.

Description
Players may continue to see the Cosmic Chest timer at 0:00 if they have an active Bounty that is poached by an enemy player while they are opening the chest.

Creative:

Vehicle memory too high.

Description
We’re investigating an issue that is causing vehicles in Creative mode to use more memory than intended.

ATKs bounce and jitter unexpectedly when starting to drive.

Description
We’re investigating an issue that is causing ATKs to bounce when driving.

Vehicle explosion not properly triggered with “Destroyed with Transmit” on.

Description
A vehicle’s explosion is not properly triggered when ‘Is Destroyed with Transmit’ is set to ON.

Grass with Epic settings

Description
Grass on Epic settings does not display properly and has dark shadows

Players do not bounce if they land in the center of Crash Pads

Description
We’re investigating an issue that is causing players to not bounce if fthey land in the center of a crash pad.

Workaround
Landing on the sides of the crash pad will bounce the player.

Latency issues on XL Islands.

Description
We’re investigating an issue in Creative Mode that is causing players to experience latency issues when building on an XL Island.

Mobile:

White Rectangle appears on Rift Tour tab.

Description
We’re investigating an issue that is causing a white rectangle to appear on the Rift Tour tab.

Workaround
Players can enter any game mode and upon completion the white rectangle will no longer appear on the Rift Tour tab,

Note: This workaround will need to be performed each time the game is launched.

Expect datamined content from reliable miners to be added here throghout the day as more data from the patch is parsed. We’ll post an “update” in the article once it’s completed to let people know that it’s done.
