Epic Games has released the Fortnite update for September 20, which is a server-side patch (no download required) that brings balance adjustments that we’re expecting players will particularly like. Read on for the patch notes.

Fortnite Update for September 20 Patch Notes:

  • ⚡️ Mythic Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun now charges and fires faster.
  • 🏹 TnTina’s Bow charges, reloads, and recharges faster.
  • 🧃 Slurp Juice is now much rarer, chug wisely!
  • ⬆️ Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle has increased damage and faster fire rate.
  • ⬇️ The Foundation’s Mythic MK-Seven Assault Rifle has reduced damage and a slightly slower fire rate.
  • 💥 Sticky Grenade Launcher has a slower fire rate, and a longer reload time, and we’ve added a cooldown when swapping between two Launchers.
  • 🔫 The Gunnar Stinger SMG deals slightly more damage per bullet with decreased vertical recoil.

Good changes, right? As for the actual client-side patch, the latest one released was last week’s, which you can read about in detail (alongside the datamined content) right here.
