Report: Halo Infinite Release Date Leaked

New Halo Infinite Trailers

Following its absence from the highly-anticipated Xbox gamescom livestream yesterday, a big piece of information has now possibly dropped for Halo Infinite. It would appear that the Halo Infinite release date is now due on December 8, 2021, following a supposed leak on its Microsoft store page. Check out the screenshot below taken by a shrewd Twitter user:

Halo Infinite Release Date leaked:

The Twitter user explained how viable the leak as well, saying:

JFYI: this Microsoft Store listing has been live since August 26, 2020, with a placeholder release date. They updated the entire store listing a few hours ago, with the new release date (and new description, screenshots…)

If this is the case, then this would explain the reason for the cut content 343 Industries has announced recently, including the campaign co-op mode. Halo Infinite has been delayed multiple times already, with the game supposed to launch as one of the release titles for the Xbox Series X.

Bear in mind, this is in no way confirmed, so treat it with a grain of salt. Hopefully, the official announcement is incoming soon.
