Kojima Productions has collaborated with PlayStation Studios and Filmworks to make a documentary on Kojima himself called “Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds.” The documentary is directed by Glen Milner and produced by Ben Hilton.

Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds is described as a “journey into the creative mind of the most iconic video game creator in the world.” The documentary film will give viewers an insight into Hideo Kojima’s creative process, and feature contributions from artists such as Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, and others. Connecting Worlds currently has no release date.

Kojima severed ties with Konami back in 2015 and started his own game studio, Kojima Productions. The studio released its first title, Death Stranding, in 2019 for the PS4.

The studio has come a long way since. Currently, Kojima Productions is working on multiple titles including Death Stranding 2, a project with Xbox, and a horror game starring Margaret Qualley, dubbed project “Overdose”.
