Insomniac ROI Chart

This image reveals some interesting numbers for Insomniac. Firstly, we can see that the total costs listed for Spider-Man 2 is a whopping $315 million. The image also lists Spider-Man 2 as having an estimated $75 million profit. Given that the game has sold five million copies in its first month, it’s likely to far surpass that number.

We can also see some other compelling budgeting numbers on this chart. Spider-Man 3, which isn’t due for several years, is estimated to cost a total of $385 million. Furthermore, Wolverine is actually estimated to have a smaller budget than both of these games, coming in at only $305 million. Both of these games are expected to hit a pretty significant profit, with Spider-Man 3 hoping to hit $170 million and Wolverine aiming for $85 million.

The data breach also revealed some work-in-progress gameplay of the unreleased Wolverine game, which you can check out here. Keep in mind that it’s likely an early build and that it will probably change significantly before release.
