Modern Warfare 2 Beta Codes for Xbox and PC Giveaway
Following our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta code giveaway on PlayStation platforms last week, it’s now the PC and Xbox players’ turn! Yes, we are giving away MW2 beta code early access.

Thanks to Activision, we have a handful of Modern Warfare 2 Xbox and PC beta codes to give out. How to snag one? Super simple. Just leave a comment and tell us what excites or worries you about the Modern Warfare 2 beta gameplay footage you’ve seen online. The best and chosen comments will be emailed a code via the email address they their commenting accounts are associated with.
Update: Please leave your preferred platform in your comment.
For those on PC, the codes we are giving out are for Battle.net.
REDEMPTION INSTRUCTIONS
- Please go to www.callofduty.com/betaredeem to redeem your Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II code.
- You must then login/create a Call of Duty® account and select your gaming platform and region.
- You will know your code is valid if you’re redirected to the success page.
- The success page will confirm that you are registered for the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® II Open Beta but will not provide a platform-specific code to download the Beta
- A platform-specific code will be emailed to users at a later date closer to when the Open Beta begins.

can’t wait to get into mw2 the multiplayer looks really good this year!!
The best part of the beta is the removal of Slide Canceling, it’s more ground boots based like the old CoD’s.
The part that worries me is the TTK being so damn high, it’s almost like a one shot one kill game with any gun from what I’m seeing on streams.
The biggest thing that I’m excited for it the proximity chat in warzone I have a feeling it’s gonna bring new life to the game and make it way more enjoyable for players I also am looking forward to the new change with no slide canceling and just normal sliding
One thing that worries me is the new gunsmith maybe it’ll be good or maybe not just excited to try it out but also very nervous
MWII looks to be a great cod this year, I’m glad the maps are looking a lot better and more fast paced. I’m excited for the gunsmith and how in-depth the class setups will be. I’m a bit concerned regarding the decision to not include red dots on the map, but I hope the smaller map sizes can make this more bearable unlike MW2019

im excited about the new gun level up system but im worried about the maps so far nothing has been impressive.

What excites me more is the gunsmith, it is really good with that family tree they implemented, something new and fresh for the franchise. On the other hand what concerns me is the ttk, is super fast, even more fast than vanguard but I think that decision is because they really care about casual players.

I love the way WZ2 and DMZ are headed but I’m nervous about Infinity Ward not listenting to the community (just yet anyway). I don’t really mind the ”no red-dots” on the the minimap but they mentioned people seem to love it when the whole community is pretty much rattled about it. I don’t know myself since I don’t have a code yet so hopes up I’ll get a PC code to test it myself.

What excites me is how relatable it is to MW2019. I absolutely loved that game and (nearly) everything about it. I still continue to play MW2019 to this day actually. I love how they have “modernized” and “revamped” the Call of Duty series with both the previous and upcoming MW games. From the graphics, feel, and gameplay, it was a fantastic experience to say the least.
What I am worried about is missing features. It is already nearly set in stone the original mini-map will not be implemented, that is one thing I can think of off the top of my head. Another would be the lack of mentioning how levelling/prestige will work. For me, I didn’t fussy the new “Seasonal” ranks & prestige system they have in place, and I would much prefer the legacy prestige and levelling system.
All of this is only my opinion, however!
Im excited about the maps and new playstyles i can learn with each map. As someone whos played call of duty ever since the original modern warfare ive loved seeing how the game adapts and changes with each developers imaginations. One of my favorite franchises and MW22 is looking to be one of my favorites of the decade 😀

The Modern Warfare 2 Beta, reminds me of the good old days back on MW2 / MW3. The Guns and Maps look amazing to use and play on. Also the new 3rd Person mode looks like a lot of fun.
I’m excited to try out the 3rd person mode and see how well the ADS response does with it. Also I’m a big time Call of Duty fan and I want to further support the franchise with solid feedback. 💚

A new card and new controls and finally fun playing again, I hope because it broke with the old warzone
So I have the ps5 beta preordered for the first time to be apart of this final exclusivity! But I have series x as well! While playing the ps5 the visual are great, still some ray tracing edits need to be done around the environment! The 3rd party mosh pit mode being back and spectate if you don’t start immediately and just get kicked, I love it! But can’t for the final release! Slashinghen15 ps5 digi and series x platform!
I can’t wait to get to play the third person mode!
I hope the footsteps sound is fixed somewhat. You can hear people heading your direction from a mile away.
TTK seems alright, maps seem good but the footsteps are very loud.
I really do hope they reconsider lowering the footstep volume. It really is almost wall hack like with the way it is right now, you can actually pinpoint where people are.
Overall a solid direction imo, really hoping for the best
I am can’t for the for modern warfare to cause you don’t have to grind all your life to get all the attachments for all the guns you just have to get one gun max out but I am sad that they remove side cancelation.
Pros:
-No more slide cancel;
-The new gunsmith looks complex, but better;
-NEW WARZONE MAAAP;
Cons:
-Warzone loot system (definitely made for DMZ, not Warzone);
-Warzone spec camera needs to return to first person, not that head/shoulder action cam;
-Bad UI for warzone (again, seems it was made for DMZ);
Probably just needs some fine tuning to get almost perfect.
Currently on XBOX but I haven’t played COD in about 5 years. I am just worried about getting used to the vibe but now from reading and watching youtube videos there’s tons of other things I should probably be worried about. But I’d like to give it a shot.
Tried it on PlayStation but after such a long time of not using controller got absolutely decimated, but I do like how vibrant the game looks compared to the grey Modern Warfare
Im excited for the new warzone and the new multiplayer mechanics as it is so much more different from modern warfare
I’m excited for the new customization of weapons and see how we can use them for differnt play styles and enamgages we have and warzone new map

I’m interested to see how people mange without slide cancelling.
I’m very excited for the Invasion mode, as that could be a great option for a more laid back gameplay experience. I also love GW, and big BF style maps.
Really excited to play this one as I loved the old modern warfare. It’s going to be tough as I’m used to playing keyboard and mouse with my xbox but now back to controller. 🤞
Since I still have quite a old system I am curious about to see how the beta will perform and how low the graphic settings need to be and how mw2 will look like then compared to Vanguard.
