If you’re seeing more and more Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players rock the Riot Shield in multiplayer, it’s either they really want to use it, or some might be trying to pull off the Modern Warfare 2 Riot Shield glitch in order to mow people down.
While we won’t be providing instructions on how to do this (since it’s an exploit that can still be replicated currently), what this does is, it basically makes the Riot Shield user unkillable. You can get a shotgun blast to the face and not go down with this thing turned on. Here’s how this exploit/bug looks like in-game:
Unfortunately, there is no fix for it yet. In yesterday’s title update patch notes, Infinity Ward has acknowledged that there’s a Riot Shield exploit/bug in the game, though there is no timetable on when this will be tweaked.
