Capcom is partnering up with iconic mobile games publisher, TiMi Studio Group to make a brand new mobile game based on the Monster Hunter franchise. The untitled project is currently in development and Capcom claims that it will feature the “hunting actions that define the Monster Hunter series.”

This is the first time Capcom has partnered with TiMi, and the publisher hopes to reach more platforms and people. The game will offer players a new experience “unique for mobiles,” and the freedom to hunt, “anytime anywhere.”

TiMi Studio Group is owned by Tencent and is popular for bringing many big franchises to mobile, including the likes of Call of Duty and Pokemon. No additional details about the project have been shared as of yet, except it is formally announced. From the looks of it, we will have to wait for some time before we get more information.

Monster Hutner is an action role-playing game set in a fantasy world. Players fight against giant monsters in various natural environments. With a total of five mainline entries, the franchise has become one of Capcom’s most popular series, surpassing over 88 million units sold as of September 30, 2022.
