New Battlefield 6 Build Uploaded to BF Labs, Showcasing New Gadgets, Weapons and Even Customization
With the Battlefield 6 Open Beta now over, it seems DICE is once again testing new stuff in Battlefield Labs, as a new game build of BF6 has been uploaded to the testing grounds.
This isn’t just a minor update either, as the new build of Battlefield 6 in BF Labs adds a ton of new stuff like weapons, gadgets, and even cosmetics.
One brave tester captured footage of what’s new and uploaded it, even.
Battlefield 6’s New Build in BF Labs Shows Us More Cosmetic Options
The leak comes from Chinese social media platform bilibili, which was then shared on the 1BF leaker group. There’s about 19 minutes of footage where the user scrolls through the different gadgets, which most were unavailable in the beta, as well as the cosmetics menu where we see different helmets and the like that can be chosen by the player. Based o what’s shared in the footage, we can breathe a sigh of relief, as the cosmetics all seem grounded — at least for now. No telling what EA will do once the game is in the hands of millions of players.
If you’re worried that we won’t get a lot of gadgets, don’t be, as the footage scrolls through some of them, and there’s a lot.
Don’t forget, this is from a build in Battlefield Labs, so there is a chance that some of the content you see might be placeholder or might not make it in the final version of the game.
Will we have the opportunity to play this build in another beta closer to launch? Let’s hope so, and let’s hope DICE includes one of the bigger maps the game has, which we know there’s quite a few thanks to a recent datamine.
In other Battlefield 6 news, it has been estimated that approximately 20 million players participated in the Open Beta’s two weekends, which is a staggering number.
Also of note, don’t forget that DICE rolled out a free Battle Pass for Battlefield 2042, which includes items that can be earned for Battlefield 6.
Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and if we get wind of another beta, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
