Next week, Rockstar Games is updating Grand Theft Auto Online on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 with new challenges that can be tackled while in the game’s online Freemode.
Anyone can participate in Freemode Events spontaneously, without the need for menus, lobbies, or loading screens, and earn GTA$ and RP. According to Rockstar, sessions can be customized to determine which events will take place. How often one joins in is up to the player.
Some of the new modes include Penned In, King of the Castle, Moving Target, Hun the Beast, and more. You can see some of these in action in the new trailer embedded above.
Arriving alongside the new update are two new Adversary Modes, Hunting Pack and Cross the Line, as well as the introduction of the Rockstar Editor to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Players will also find new features on all platforms like an ambient audio and sound effects library, Snapmatic integration, Director Mode updates, and more.
Look for the update on September 15.
