Nintendo Switch System Update Ver. 19.0.0 Released This October 7
Nintendo has released Switch system update version 19.0.0 this October 7, and this is nothing to get excited about, as this is a stability update more than anything else.
According to Nintendo, today’s patch brings:
- General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
And that’s about it. Of course, given we should be hearing about the Switch’s successor (dubbed the Switch 2 by gamers) any day now, this really shouldn’t come as a surprise. Nintendo isn’t really known for its online infrastructure. Hopefully, that changes with the Switch’s successor, as you can have awesome games and an amazing online experience, right?
Speaking of the next console by the company, the latest from the rumor mill states that the development of the hardware is finished, and that it’s aiming for release in April or March 2025.
