Developer Hello Games is proudly looking back into seven eventful years since the release of No Man’s Sky in August 2016, a game that went through all the motions. Going forward, the studio has starting teasing the future of the game, with the title of the next update being Echoes.

The video below was posted in Hello Games’ official YouTube channel and shows a fast montage of the many updates, which ended up turning an underwhelming launch into the game that it was promised to be. The video includes a note on the Switch and Mac releases, and ends with the unassuming but very exciting message for fans “Our journey continues…” before fading into a No Man’s Sky Echoes logo.

There are no details or release date on the No Man’s Sky Echoes update at all, for now, apart from the logo seen in the video above and a very vague “coming soon.” No Man’s Sky updates always bought some interesting additions into this sci-fi adventure, so players are naturally eager to learn more about the features coming with this expansion.
