No Man’s Sky Update 2.57 Brings Key Fixes to Ship Landing and Fixes Graphical Issues on Switch
Hello Games has released No Man’s Sky Update 2.57 (PS5/XSX version 2.057), introducing fixes aimed at enhancing the overall gameplay experience. This patch addresses critical issues with ship landing mechanics, in-flight stability, and graphical glitches specific to the Nintendo Switch. The update is currently live on Steam and will roll out to other platforms soon.
No Man’s Sky Update 2.57 Fixes Ship Landing Issues and More
Below are the full patch notes:
- Fixed an issue that could cause some ship types to fail to find a landing site.
- Fixed a crash related to flying the starship over land.
- Fixed an issue that could cause graphical corruption when talking to NPCs on Switch.
And that’s it for this update! As you can see, nothing major has been introduced. This follows yesterday’s Update 2.56, which addressed technical issues like the Boundary Herald starship’s landing site difficulties, a canopy animation glitch, connection problems with the discovery servers, and more.
Last week, Hello Games also released No Man’s Sky Update 5.25, which enabled cross-save and cloud saving. This feature allows players to transfer save progress seamlessly between platforms, such as moving from PS4 to Xbox Series X|S, or any other platform they choose.
