Hello Games has released No Man’s Sky update 4.48 (PS5 update version 4.048), and this is the game’s first patch of 2024! As one might expect, this brings another round of fixes to the Holiday Expeditions from last year. Read on for what’s new in the official NMS new update patch notes below.

Thank you to everyone playing the No Man’s Sky Holiday Expeditions 2023 update, especially those taking the time to report any issues they encounter via Zendesk or console crash reporting.

We are listening closely to your feedback, and have identified and resolved a number of issues. These fixes are included in patch 4.48, which is now live on Steam and will be coming to other platforms as soon as possible.

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue that could cause decals to render black on macOS.
• Fixed an issue that could cause the Etched In Glass milestone not to display its instructional notification message.
• Fixed a rare crash that could occur in multiplayer.
