The Year of the Rabbit is upon us, and Overwatch 2 is celebrating Lunar New Year 2023 with a seasonal event. The Overwatch 2 Lunar New Year 2023 event starts today, January 17 till January 31 and brings back game modes alongside some new rewards for 14 days.

Various game modes are highlighted in this event, including Capture the Flag, Capture the Flag Blitz, and Bounty Hunter, with the Lijiang Tower map featuring festive fireworks for the occasion. Capture the Flag and its Blitz version offer some team-based fun, whereas Bounty Hunter caters to those who’d rather go solo and duke it out in a free-for-all.
Of course, no seasonal event would be complete without rewards, and this Lunar New Year event will feature rewards just by logging in. The 2023 Year of the Rabbit icon is up for grabs when you enter the game, and completing four of the event challenges will net you a Kkachi Echo Legendary Skin.
You can even get a free victory pose and Legendary skin for Moira by watching Twitch content creators throughout the event. Two hours of watch time will net you the “The Lion Roars” victory pose, whereas an additional four hours rewards you with the Masked Dancer Legendary skin.
