Play Halo 4 Multiplayer and Earn Free Microsoft Points

As if Halo’s multiplayer wasn’t already addicting enough, Microsoft has found a new way to dangle that carrot in front of your nose.

If you happen to be a member of the Xbox Live Rewards Program, Microsoft will now be giving away free Microsoft Points just for playing Halo 4 multiplayer.

It’s quite simple. Playing over 35 hours of Halo 4 multiplayer will earn you 100 MS Points while playing over 70 will net you 300 MS Points. Last, but certainly not least, playing over 140 hours will score you 600 MS Points.

Additionally, you will receive 100 MS Points back after spending over 1500 MS Points on Halo content in the Xbox Live Marketplace. You can also earn 200 Points back for spending 3000 MS Points.

Finally, 800 MS points will be rewarded to anyone who’s spent over 3000 MS points and has played over 35 hours of multiplayer combined.

Sound like an interesting deal! This offer lasts until November 30 and is exclusive to members of the Xbox Live Rewards Program, so you’ll need to make sure to sign up if you decide to go for it. And, hey, we know tons of you out there are going to be spending hours and hours in Halo 4’s multiplayer this month. Might as well earn some real-life cash (sort of) for it.

Thanks, Destructoid.
