PUBG Player Count Surpasses 2 Million Concurrent, Chickens Face Extinction

Well, it’s happened! PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has reached a concurrent player count of 2 million! That is 2 million people all online playing PUBG at the same time.

What’s more, it’s been achieved on a Wednesday, whereas previous record player counts have been achieved during the weekend. Impressive!

Above you’ll find the PUBG player count as recorded by Steam.

Bluehole’s unstoppable game smashed the 15 million sales milestone a couple of days ago, and now it’s claimed another impressive achievement. And remember, this is all through the PC version! I can only wonder what heights this game will achieve when it comes to Xbox One and (hopefully) PS4!

That’s a lot of people competing for first place and a “Winner, winner, chicken dinner!” I feel bad for all of those chickens…

In other PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds news, Bluehole is in “talks” with Sony regarding a PS4 version, a creative chap has managed to get PUBG running on a Game Boy, and Bluehole is now valued at $4 billion
