Rainbow Six Siege Crossplay and Cross-Progression Coming With Operation Solar Raid

Rainbow Six Siege servers down

It’s almost that time again, as Ubisoft prepares another major update to Rainbow Six Siege, but this time, this will bring along something the community has been looking forward to for years now, and that’s Rainbow Six Siege crossplay! Not only that, but the company has also talked about cross-progression as well. Players can expect these features and more to be included in Operation Solar Raid, which will come alongside a new map and more.

Rainbow Six Siege Crossplay and Cross-Progression Details:

CROSS-PLAY AND CROSS-PROGRESSION

Operation Solar Raid sees the launch of cross-play and cross-progression which will allow for matchmaking between all consoles as well as between PC and streaming platforms. This feature will also allow for unified progression and inventory, letting you share your progress, in-game currencies, and items across all platforms. We will announce all the details during the reveal.

In Operation Solar Raid, players will also get the Nighthaven Labs map, Ranked 2.0, a Battle Pass update and more. Read up on that below.

NEW MAP: NIGHTHAVEN LABS

Let’s get started with the new map, Nighthaven Labs. Competitive from the start, this map introduces you to new layouts that have never been seen before. This season’s map uses previously established story elements from Nighthaven, including their HQ and R&D labs where their tech is developed. Tune in to the reveal on Monday November 21st to find out about the other exciting elements of this season’s map.

RANKED 2.0

This season also sees big changes coming to the ranking system with Ranked 2.0. We’ve added a new rank, as well as implemented some changes to progression. Ranked 2.0 changes aim to have a real progression system while giving players revamping the matchmaking experience. Find out more about this during the reveal.

REPUTATION SCORE DISPLAY (BETA)

As we previously announced, when Operation Solar Raid launches, the Reputation System will receive an important update. For the first time, players will be able to see their Reputation Standing and get more information on the active penalties linked to their accounts. Keep in mind that this feature is in beta, meaning there won’t be any penalties or bonuses granted based on your standing just yet, the activation of the effects and modifiers will come at a later date. More about this, as well as other anti-toxicity updates, will be made public during the reveal on Monday November 21st

BATTLE PASS UPDATE

The Battle Pass is evolving and becoming more tactical with a new progression system to offer more choices. This will let players have a custom approach and choose how to progress. Tune-in to the reveal on Monday November 21st to catch all the details.

PLAYER COMFORT UPDATE

Advanced Controller Options will also be coming to console players allowing them to customize the aim controls of their controller’s look stick. Other updates will be revealed on Monday November 21st.

As you can see, more info regarding crossplay and Operation Solar Raid will be made available next week, so stay tuned.
