In a rather unfortunate turn for today’s massive Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) leak, it seems the leaker has more than just gameplay footage and info about the upcoming game, but they seem to have the source code for both GTA 5 and GTA 6!

The leaker with the username teapotuberhacker updated their original post in the GTAForums board, and is now trying to negotiate a deal with Rockstar to prevent further leaks.

Here’s his updated message:

Ok so this has gone unexpectedly viral, woke up to 3000 Telegram DM’s If you are a employee of Rockstar or Take2 and your trying to contact me. Send me a message containing 22559219889638875756 on telegram Or you can email me at teapotuberhacker@protonmail.com **from your corporate email address** I will try to read all these reply soon – i am looking to negotiate a deal

As if leaking the game wasn’t damaging enough for Rockstar Games, they now face the reality that the source code of one of the most highly anticipated games of this generation getting its source code leaked. 

With what’s happening, don’t be surprised to see local and federal authorities involved soon. Mind, this could potentially delay the release of GTA 6 as well, which we’re hoping isn’t the case. We’ve reached out to Rockstar to get a statement about this and will update the post if we get a response.
