As part of the massive hack that stole tons of data from Insomniac Games, an upcoming games roadmap has leaked. The roadmap reveals plans for a Venom spinoff, Spider-Man 3, a new Ratchet and Clank game, and perhaps most intriguingly, an X-Men game.

The data come from a few slides that have been circulating on the internet, though most material is available on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit. You can view them below:

There are a few big takeaways from these slides. For starters, the Venom game is apparently set to release near the end of 2025, or at least that was the plan at some point. Furthermore, the game’s full title is apparently Venom: Lethal Protector, which is the name of a Venom comic run from the 90s that’s often used as a nickname for the symbiote anti-hero. The Venom game will also feature multiple playable characters and an 8-10 hour playtime, complete with 12 main missions and a handful of side content.

We can also see a slot for Spider-Man 3, which should come as no surprise. After the massive success of Spider-Man 2, it makes sense for Insomniac to want to continue the series. Creative Director Bryan Intihar has already teased a potential for epic scope from Spider-Man 3, which is currently slated for late 2028 according to the roadmap.

Finally, we can see that a new Ratchet and Clank game and a new X-Men title are on the slate for 2029 and 2030, respectively. While we don’t know much about X-Men beyond some licensing terms, it’s clear that Insomniac is hoping to make a series out of it. In terms of Ratchet and Clank, there’s a few pieces of concept art that give us a peek at the game’s general tone. These games are far off, so we’re probably not going to hear about them for a long time.

This is all very compelling news. As always, keep in mind that there’s no telling when any of these slides originated, meaning that Insomniac’s entire plan could have changed between then and now. Nonetheless, we’re optimistic about the studio’s future, as they always do great work, and these IPs are all pretty exciting.

We’ll be sure to keep our readers in the loop as we learn more.
