Report: Red Dead Redemption 2 Install Size Requirement to Be 105GB, Sony Gets Timed Exclusive Content

With games going up in size more and more these days, it’s hard to properly manage harddisk space when it comes to console gaming, and it seems Red Dead Redemption 2 will add to the complications.

On the PS4 Pro Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle, it states that Sony is getting 30 days early access to RDR2 content, and what’s more, the game needs a whopping 105GB of free disk space!

Note that this is not 100 percent confirmation that Red Dead Redemption 2 will require 105GB of disk space. Case in point: Reddit user Pyrocy779 posts that the official Destiny 2 listing on the PSN Store states that it needs 68GB of save size, but the actual file was just 30.85GB. Having said that, I wouldn’t be shocked if this 105GB requirement is legit given how massive Rockstar Games titles are.

We’ve reached out to Rockstar Games for clarification and will update the story if and when we get a response.
