Resident Evil Re:Verse Release Date Delayed to 2022

Resident Evil Re:Verse

It looks like another game has been hit with the delay bug! Capcom has announced today that the Resident Evil Re:Verse release date has been pushed back to sometime in 2022. No release window was given, but a message to fans have been shared.

The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

For players who purchased a physical version of Resident Evil Village, we recommend that you keep track of the included Resident Evil Re:Verse download code or add it to your account now so that you are ready to play when the game launches next year.

For those keeping score, this is the second delay for the multiplayer Resident Evil game, as it was originally set to be released alongside Resident Evil Village, as a free multiplayer component.

Personally, I am OK with delays as long as the game itself is a better overall product once released. Once we know more info about the game, we’ll let our readers know.
