SEGA has revealed that they will be launching the second edition of its Genesis Mini console. The SEGA Genesis Mini 2 will be launching in North America on October 27, 2022 and is available for pre-order.
SEGA says the Genesis Mini 2 has hardware more advanced than 2019’s SEGA Genesis Mini. The console comes with a brand new lineup of over 50 games, which is more vast than the original Genesis Mini release. Titles from the SEGA CD era will now be playable, featuring full-motion video. Lastly, SEGA has announced that a previously unreleased game has also been added as a bonus, adding more value to the package.
More than half of the 50 games are unannounced. Here’s a list of games we know are included with the Genesis Mini 2 so far.
