Silent Hill 2 Remake Release Date Set for October 8, New Gameplay Trailer Features Combat
As part of today’s State of Play, Konami has revealed the Silent Hill 2 remake release date, and it’s October 8, 2024! Alongside that, we also got a new trailer featuring the game’s protagonists, and combat.
Having received a letter from his deceased wife,
James heads to where they shared so many memories,
in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill.
There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…

As a horror fan that played the original way back, I’m definitely excited to see how Bloober has modernized this latest entry for the Silent Hill franchise.
Silent Hill 2 is a PS5 exclusive, though we’re expecting it to appear on PC later down the road (after 12 months).
