Sonic Team has shared Sonic Frontiers’ Showdown Trailer, which features a mix of CGI and gameplay. The trailer starts off with a beautiful cinematic shot of Sonic standing on top of a hill and then running down to kill the enemies, and transitions into gameplay. 

It’s almost time. Explore the Starfall Islands, gather the Chaos Emeralds, and get ready for the showdown of a lifetime!

Sonic Frontiers’ Showdown Trailer also showcases Amy Rose and Tails working together with Sonic to fend off evil and gather the Emeralds. The trailer ends with Sonic fighting a gigantic creature, where he uses all seven of his Chaos Emeralds and turns into Super Sonic to fight him.

Sonic Frontiers launches for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch next week on November 8, 2022. The file sizes for the title surfaced online late last month, and the pre-load will start November 6. You can pre-order Sonic Frontiers now through this link.
