Specialists employ deadly traps to harry enemy forces, reveal battlefield intelligence to their comrades, and snipe at enemies with long-distance weaponry.

Striking from hiding, specialists rely on stealth and position to finish foes before they ever see a threat coming. Each class can equip Star Cards to modify and enhance their combat abilities. A few examples of the ability Star Cards for the Specialist class are:
- Trip Mine: A basic anti-personnel mine with a laser tripwire. Detonates when an enemy soldier crosses the tripwire.
- Infiltration Replenish: Reveal all enemies on your scanner. Scramble enemy scanners in close proximity. Draw a medium-range weapon that builds no heat during the active time of this ability. When you perform a kill, the active time of this ability is replenished.
