“Sign-up is now open for a chance to participate in the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League confidential Closed Alpha Tech Test. We need your help to test the game’s online infrastructure. If you are able and interested in playing, please see below for more details.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a new third-person action-shooter in development by Rocksteady Studios, creators of the best-selling Batman: Arkham series. This genre-defying videogame combines Rocksteady’s story-driven experience and ability to bring compelling characters to life, coupled with powerful traversal, shooter and melee gameplay. Play as Suicide Squad members Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark and embark on an impossible mission through Metropolis to save Earth and take out the world’s greatest DC Super Heroes, the Justice League.

Please note, the game is still in development, and this test will only represent a smaller, specific section of the campaign and will not be representative of the full/final experience. We are excited to have you play the full game at launch.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is rated “M” (ESRB) / “18” (PEGI) and is intended for audiences aged 18 years or older.

As this technical test will be for a limited audience, we cannot guarantee you will get invited. If you are selected, the test will take place Thursday, November 30 at 6 a.m. PST through Monday, December 4 at 12 a.m. PST.

The Closed Alpha Tech Test will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). For PC players, we recommend using a game controller or game pad for this test.”

The email also has the following disclaimer:

This test and all related information/content is private and highly confidential. Only participants who accept the terms of an NDA will be able to participate. Any breach of the NDA will result in damage to the launch plans for the game. Keep in mind, all gameplay is watermarked with a unique identifier tied to your account.

As you can see above, players will be required to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) which means that participants cannot share screenshots, footage, impressions and the like. Of course, with today’s leak culture, we are expecting stuff to make its way online anyway.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be available on Feb. 2, 2024, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
