Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – Suicide Squad Insider Episode 2 “Meet the Support Squad”

Summary of what was shown during today’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Insider Episode:

• Weapon crafting – Weapons are based on different manufacturers – STAR Labs, Amertek, LexCorp, and GCPD.
• All manufacturers have their own theme, such as LexCopr being more science base.
• Different guns will go with different play styles.
• The support squad is various supervillains that support the Suicide Squad. Confirmed casts are Gizmo, Toyman, Hack, and Poison Ivy.
• Gizmo – Offers airdrop vehicles you can use during battles.
• Toyman – Helps the Squad figure out how to defeat the Justice League. He can enhance gear.
• Hack – Offers unlockable skills for the heroes.
• Poison Ivy – Gives affliction to weapons.
• There are four Afflictions
  • Diablo Blaqze – Sets enemies on fire
  • Deep Freeze – Freezes enemies
  • Poison and electricity were also shown off but not named.
• Shows off a few builds they’ve created.

Plenty was shown off in today’s episode. I can’t say I was expecting Poison Ivy to make a return in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League, even if it is a different version of her.

As revealed at the end, the next Insider Episode will be talking about the game’s post-launch support. As for when it releases, we can probably expect it closer to the game’s launch.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) on February 2, with the Deluxe Edition available on January 30.
