Bandai Namco took to the Nintendo Direct presentation today to announce Tales of Symphonia Remastered, an upgraded version of the beloved RPG. Tales of Symphonia is set in the world of Sylvarant, a dying land in need of a constant source of “mana.” Players will follow the adventures of Lloyd Irving and his friends as they take on an adventure filled with emotions.

Summer Nguyen, Brand Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America had this to say:

“Our goal with Tales of Symphonia Remastered is to introduce this beloved entry in the series to a whole new generation of fans. We’re aiming to deliver an experience that’s true to the original yet engaging to a whole new audience of players with enhancements that update the game visually and add new gameplay enhancements.” 

Tales of Symphonia Remastered includes anime-inspired cutscenes, a unique art style, endearing characters, and couch co-op. The game is set to launch on PS4, Xbox One (backward compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series consoles), and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders for Tales of Symphonia’s “Chosen Edition” are now live which includes the base game, a commemorative metal case, and exclusive art. Find out more on Bandai Namco’s official website.
