Xbox Games Showcase and Starfield Direct Taking Place Back-to-Back on June 11

Microsoft has now announced that the previously-announced Xbox Games Showcase, set to take place “this summer,” will now be taking place on the same day as Starfield Direct. The showcase, beginning at 1pm ET/10pm PT on June 11, will be immediately be followed by Bethesda’s Starfield event.

The Xbox Games Showcase will be the first physical Xbox summer event since its E3 2019 showcase. The new event was previously planned for a tentative Summer 2023 window, but now it will coincide with Bethesda’s Starfield Direct, conveniently giving Xbox gamers their first look at the biggest releases on the platform alongside extended Starfield gameplay and other information on the same day.

Fans will be able to tune into the event on YouTube, Twitch (ASL version here), and Facebook. The local times for the Xbox Games Showcase are as follows:

  • PT: June 11, 10am
  • ET: June 11, 1pm
  • BST: June 11, 6pm
  • CET: June 11, 7pm
  • JST: June 12, 4am
  • AEST: June 12, 5am

Starfield Direct will begin airing immediately after the conclusion of the showcase. The Xbox Games Showcase Extended will follow on June 13 at 1pm ET/10am PT, featuring detailed interviews focused on the showcase’s events as well as updates on Xbox’s first-party titles.
