Update

We’ve clarified that the sales reported in EA’s Q4 FY2015 earnings call were concerning console sales, not total sales.

Original Story

80 percent of all Battlefield Hardline console sales since launch belong to current-generation platforms, publisher Electronic Arts revealed in a recent earnings call earlier today.

“Illustrating how far the transition has come, four out of every five copies [of Battlefield Hardline] sold for consoles that were either Xbox One or PlayStation 4,” said EA CFO Blake Jorgensen. That leaves about 20 percent made up of PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 sales. The number are interesting, considering the franchises strong history with PC gaming.

EA also reports that over 2 billion minutes and 30 million game sessions have been played since launch.

Battlefield Hardline launched on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 17.
