Heads up, Xbox console owners! Microsoft has released a new Xbox system update for April 15, and this adds a slew of new features and quality-of-life additions.

Some of the improvements include being able to pin more groups to your Home screen, disabling quick resume for specific games and more.

Xbox owners will see this download as OS version: 10.0.26100.7807. Read on for the complete changelog of new additions.

  • Profile customization improvements

Custom colors have been added to the profile color option list allowing you to pick exactly the right shades to fit your style. Additionally, you can add your color of choice as an accent fade to the Guide by going to Settings > General > Personalization > Customize the guide.

  • Pin More Groups to Home

The amount of groups you can pin to Home has been increased from two to ten. Additionally, you can add up to 10 individual games to Home to further customize your experience.

  • Quick Resume settings

You can now disable Quick Resume on a per game basis, making sure your specific games always launch fresh when that is the better experience. Highlight any game in your collection, press Menu button  and then go to Manage game and add-ons > Quick Resume settings to set your Quick Resume preference.

  • User Selected Resolution and Network Quality Indicator

We’ve added User Selected Resolution (USR) and a Network Quality Indicator (NQI) to improve transparency and control around your streaming quality. Before you start streaming, you can now choose your preferred resolution in console Settings > Cloud gaming, giving you more control over how your games look and perform.

  • Play History updates

You’ll see a new Play History tab in My games & apps, giving you a dedicated entry point without needing to navigate back to Home.

  • Save file indicator in Game Hubs

You’ll now see a clear indicator on the Game Card showing whether your saves are syncing to the cloud, fully in sync, out of sync, or stuck on another device or offline. Whether you’re exiting a game, suspending play, or getting ready to jump to another device, you’ll receive immediate feedback and confidence that your progress is safe.
