XDefiant Update 1.000.012 Rolls Out, Brings Mastery Weapon Changes and More This June 24
Just a few days ago, Ubisoft announced that an upcoming patch for XDefiant will bring weapon mastery changes in order to align more with what the community wants. It was aimed to be released “early next week,” which we presume to be Tuesday. Well, it seems we’re wrong, as XDefiant update 1.000.012 is now out this June 24, and this patch fixes the melee bug issue.
XDefiant Update 1.000.012 Patch Notes for June 24:
Download Size: 418MB (PS5)
Update: It seems we aren’t getting any official notes aside from the announcement from Executive Producer Mark Rubin:
We pushed through an emergency patch over the weekend (thank you to everyone who worked on that on the team and at Sony and Microsoft!)
Changes:
– Updated progression: Primary weapon XP to level is now 1500 down from 3000 and Secondary weapon XP to level is 500 down from 1000.
– Missing Kill confirmation sound is back
– Fixed getting stuck if you died while spamming melee.
So far, the patch notes are still not available. For now, the confirmed list of fixes/changes in this title update are:
- Weapon Mastery XP adjusted to go twice as fast
- Fix audio bug where kill confirmation is missing
- Fix bug where you can only move and nothing else (the melee bug)
Once we get the official patch notes, we’ll update the article to reflect the changes made.
Unless something major happens, we’re not expecting a patch after this unless it’s for the Season 1 patch that will be released on July 2.
