Chivalry 2 Update 1.39 Stabs Out for Hotfix 2.11.1 and Here Are the Patch Notes for July 30

Torn Banner Studios has pushed out Chivalry 2 update 1.39 (PS5 version 1.039), which is called hotfix 2.11.1 by the studio. Players can expect balance changes, map fixes and more with the full details available in the patch notes below.

Balance Changes – Regicide at Trayan Citadel

Fuse Stage

  • Fuse Timer decreased from 30 seconds down to 25 seconds
  • Reduced delay in Agathian spawn positioning change during the second phase of placing powder kegs

VIP vs VIP Stage

  • Increased the possible final timer by 3 minutes
  • Fixed bug that caused Argon’s health to be slightly less than intended
  • Reduced the spawn delay for Agathian troops by 1 second

Dev Notes:
We’ve loved hearing all the reception and feedback towards Trayan Citadel! We’re so glad our community has been enjoying the spectacle of the new map.
Although we love that Argon’s final push to avenge his father was reflected in this difficulty for attackers, after monitoring matches and feedback since the release, we believe Argon and his troops need a little assistance, particularly in the later half of the map. Do not worry, defenders, as plenty of opportunities remain to hold back the Agathians and protect Malric from these unjust invaders.

General

  • Updated Server and Client backend
  • Made improvements to help prevent the “Party Creation failed” error
  • Fixed a bug that incorrectly showed the amount of XP earned during boosted XP times
  • Fixed a bug that would time out party members if the party host switched matches too quickly
  • Fixed a bug that removed platform icons on the scoreboard after the first match
  • Fixed a bug that could cause occasional client physics hitching
  • Updated EOS protections
  • Implemented multiple crash fixes for Servers and Clients

Combat

  • Fixed a bug that allowed the spoon item stab attack, found on Trayan Citadel, to be used repeatedly too quickly

Customization

  • Fixed a bug that played Mason voice lines when using the Rebel Voice as an Agathian
    • Although they are a “Rebel” we believe praising the enemy commander would have been going just a little too far
  • Fixed the name on the previous “Templar Visorless Helmet,” as it did indeed include a visor
  • Fixed a bug showing the “Painted Joan Helmet Featherless” as a purchasable cosmetic with gold, where it should only be earnable through the Regicide Campaign Pass

Map

  • Fixed an issue that could allow a player to access the enemy VIP spawn on Citadel earlier than intended
  • Fixed a rare bug that could prevent a VIP from spawning on Citadel
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the spikes on Duel Yard from dealing damage to players
  • Fixed a potential crash that could occur on Duel Yard

Unofficial Servers

  • Improved server command protections
  • Fixed a bug that could kick players out of the match when traveling between maps
  • Added visual ban list on Nitrado interface
  • Fixed a case where XP and gold weren’t being correctly awarded on unofficial servers

Console/Gamepad

  • Fixed a bug that prevented a ballista from being fired again if the Arrow Cam was used in the previous shot

Additional Notes:
Due to the nature of this Hotfix, PC Players will experience a larger-than-average download size when prompted to re-download the game for proper Hotfix installation.

Don’t expect a lot of updates for Chivalry 2 after this one outside of fixes.

Valorant Update 1.000.007 for Version 9.02 Brings Agent Changes and More This July 30

Riot Games has released Valorant update 1.000.007 on consoles and on PC, this will show up as version 9.02. Aside from bug fixes, there are agent balance changes on consoles, as well as multiple improvements to reduce player toxicity and more.

PLAYER BEHAVIOR UPDATES

  • Behavioral Intervention Update: People who engage in comms abuse will experience increased penalties.

BUG FIXES

Agents

  • Neon
    • Fixed a bug where Neon’s hitbox could be slightly offset while sliding.

Gameplay Systems

  • Fixed an issue in Premier Overtime voting that prevented people from calling an Overtime Timeout when switching sides.
  • Fixed an issue with Ability HUD persisting into deathcam.

Maps

  • Abyss
    • Fixed several areas where the Spike could get stuck on certain ledges outside the map.
    • Fixed a bug where Omen could die by teleporting in a specific spot in Mid Bottom.
    • Several Visual Bugs fixed.
  • Sunset
    • You can no longer jump on the tall box in A Alley.

PC

GENERAL UPDATES

  • We have made the new Basic Training (tutorial) and The Range from Console available on PC!
    • All new players will be required to play through the tutorial, and will have an option to play a Bot Training Match.
    • For current players, you can access the Basic Training and The Range by going to the Practice menu.

GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS UPDATES

  • Combat Report
    • Visual refresh! The in-game combat report has a new look.
    • Combat Report will now be visible during the Buy Phase by default. You will still be able to toggle it on and off during this phase.

PREMIER UPDATES

  • Playoffs in Contender and Invite Divisions have a best of 3 finals. Rounds prior to finals are best of 1.
    • Map pick and ban takes place before agent select for each game in a match.
    • Once a map is played, it is removed from the map pool for subsequent games in the match.
  • Added playoff qualification rules in the side panel on the standings page.

SOCIAL UPDATES

  • Added platform information in the social panel. It is now clearer when a friend who is playing VALORANT is on a different platform.

BUG FIXES

  • Premier
    • Fixed an issue where the playoff results text on the standings page was always displayed in English.
    • Fixed an issue where the team page was showing the wrong background.
    • Fixed an issue where changing the Stage in the dropdown on the standings page sometimes wouldn’t refresh the content.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Gameplay Systems
    • Combat Report additional details window is missing headers for “Weapon / Ability,” “Damage,” and “Hits”. This will be resolved in an upcoming release.
  • Premier
    • During a tournament, sometimes the rest period timer between matches may not display.
      • If the text on the lobby says “MATCH STARTING” and a match has not started after 10 seconds, try navigating to the Premier tab and back to the lobby to get an updated timer.
      • Even if this timer doesn’t display, your match will still start at the appropriate time. You will still receive the MATCH FOUND notification.
      • You will always have at least 5 minutes in between matches. This time may be longer if you’re waiting on a match to finish in order to determine your next opponent.

CONSOLE

GENERAL UPDATES

  • The ‘Keep Player Centered’ minimap setting will now be forced on for minimap zoom levels above 1.0. This prevents non-centered minimap views from getting into an unusable state for high zoom levels.

AGENT UPDATES

  • Toggleable Abilities: Select abilities which require you to press and hold a button down can now be set to ‘Toggle,’ allowing you to press and let go of the input to steer the ability freely while it’s active.
    • The following abilities can be set to Togglable in the Agent Profile Settings:
      • Harbor: High Tide
      • Phoenix: Fire Wall
      • Skye: Guiding Light

  • Neon
    • High Gear
      • High Gear’s description in the Ability Info Panel has been updated to match the ability’s bindings.
  • Sova
    • Hunter’s Fury
      • Hunter’s Fury applies less drag on your controls, allowing more control over the charge’s duration.

MAP UPDATES

  • Icebox enters Competitive, Unrated, Swift Play, and Deathmatch queues.

SOCIAL UPDATES

  • The in-match scoreboard now has voice control shortcuts. You can now open the scoreboard and press a button to quickly mute other people or switch voice channels.
  • Added audio to social notifications. Now when you receive a friend request or party invite you’ll hear a notification sound.
  • Added party information to the social panel. The friends list now shows the number of people in your friend’s party and the remaining open party slots.

BUG FIXES

General

  • Fixed an issue where you can lose input when interfacing with the surrender vote system.
  • Fixed an issue where unbound inputs displayed incorrect controller bindings.
  • Fixed issue where megamap sometimes rotated when spectating other people after dying.
  • Credits are now localized properly in the tutorial.
  • Fixed an issue where the weapon wheel was not displaying the correct inputs when changing controls in individual Agent Profiles.

Gameplay Systems

  • Fixed an update with timestamp and ability status text overlapping in Combat Reports.
  • Fixed “Self” and “Ally” not localizing in Combat Report text.
  • Fixed overrun texts in Combat Reports for Indonesian localized texts.

Performance

  • Fixed a performance issue when changing controller presets.

Social

  • Fixed a bug where you could not remove someone as a friend while in match.
  • Fixed a bug where your presence sometimes would not update after a match.
  • Fixed a bug where social systems would sometimes not respect block.
  • Fixed a bug where your name would sometimes display in match even when you have set it to hidden.

Weapons

  • Mitigated an issue when using scoped weapons where your sensitivity would sharply increase at the beginning of scope zoom-in transitions.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • General
    • While playing through the Basic Training Event, the “End of Game” Basic Training Event banner in the Progression Hub will show your current milestone as +1 instead of +2 after you complete the second milestone. It is correct everywhere else in the client and people are still earning XP. This will be fixed in Patch 9.03.

Fallout 76 Update 1.94 Brings Map Fixes and More This July 30

As part of today’s maintenance for the game, Bethesda has released Fallout 76 update 1.94 on all platforms. The major change/fix here is with the map, and there are also stability improvements as well. Read on for what’s new in the FO76 patch notes for July 30.

UI

  • Fixed an issue that forced the map to not center on the players location
  • Fixed an issue that prevented icons from appearing on the map

Bethesda hasn’t released the patch notes just yet, Bethesda has confirmed the map fixes and stability improvements. Expect the complete patch notes to be available before maintenance ends.

Hopefully, this map fix won’t break other stuff, which sometimes happens from time to time. And with the game unplayable for now, we can’t check in-game to see what got changed. Of course, don’t expect the Milepost Zero update to be part of today’s patch notes, as that one will be released at a later date and is currently being tested in the PTS (Public Test Server). There was also a patch released last week, which brought in a host of gameplay bug fixes outlined here.

Minecraft Down and Experiencing Server Issues This July 30

For blockheads that can’t login and play their favorite mode in Minecraft, it’s not just you. Players are reporting that Minecraft is down, and Mojang has acknowledged the outage. Read on for more details.

According to Mojang, Microsoft’s Azure servers are acting up, and given the game is hosted on Microsoft (since they own it and all), ithat’s affecting connectivity.

According to Microsoft, they are investigating reports of connectivity issues to Microsoft services in Europe. However, based on the Azzure status page, it seems not just Europe is affected:

We’ll be updating this article as more info develops, so stay tuned. Don’t expect a patch to be released today. The latest update on consoles was released the previous week which included a short list of bug fixes.

Fallout 76 Down for Server Maintenance This July 30; Expect New Patch to Be Released

Those who can’t access their vaults in Fallout 76, it’s not just you, as Bethesda has taken the FO76 servers down this July 30, and this is for planned maintenance where a new title update is expected to be released.

Update: The patch is now live on all platforms and here are the patch notes.

Update 2 (7:20 pm ET): While maintenance should have concluded hours ago, Bethesda has confirmed that sign-in issues are now affecting Fallout 76 players.


Here’s the schedule of today’s server downtime straight from Bethesda:

Start: July 30 at 10 am ET/9 am CT/7 am PDT/10 pm HKT

Duration: Unspecified but usually lasts for 2-4 hours.

While the official patch notes aren’t available yet, Bethesda has confirmed that it will bring fixes to the game’s map, and stability improvements to all platforms. Don’t expect this to be the big Milepost Zero patch, as that one is still currently being tested, and that will be released with a lot more fanfare.\

While today’s patch will bring in fixes, it sounds like it won’t be as significant as the one we got last week. You can read up on all the changes made there in the patch notes.

Once Bethesda releases an update on the scheduled downtime, we’ll add it into the article. Expect the same once the official patch notes are out as well, which should be an hour or two after maintenance starts.

EA Sports College Football 25 Update 1.006 Hits the Field This July 30

EA Sports College Football 25 update 1.006 is now live on consoles, and this is another small update for the collegiate football sim. This should bring another round of fixes, though don’t expect any new content just yet. Read on for what’s new in the College Football 25 patch notes for today.

This morning, we distributed a smaller title update which is designed to address some issues that have been affecting your gameplay experience. A larger title update will be coming in the near future which will receive a full Campus Huddle detailing all of the updates coming to each portion of the game. 

  • Fixed Away team not being able to change offensive audibles in Online H2H
  • Reduced frequency of Roughing the Kicker from AI players on Field Goals
  • Fixed rare issue of the snap going behind the QB
  • Stability and Server Improvements 

So far, EA hasn’t mentioned what’s in the patch just yet, and the latest update from the devs is a fix for online dynasty from last week, though it also mentions that a new Campus Huddle is incoming for the patch:

This morning, the team implemented a fix for an online dynasty issue where some players were unable to load their league.

The early data looks strong, however if you are still unable to connect after the AM maintenance please let us know here: http://x.ea.com/80891

The team is continuing to address an issue where only 20 created coaches can join a dynasty. The first portion of the fix went in today and the completion will take place in a future title update. We will provide an update when this fix is implemented.

As a workaround for this issue, leagues may use existing coaches for the remaining spots.

In addition, we released a planned Title Update today that is now available on all platforms focused on performance improvements. Future updates will feature a Campus Huddle with full details.

As for the patch last week, EA has confirmed it’s for performance improvements and nothing else. You can also check out the list of known issues the dev team is looking into here.

Once the Campus Huddle for today’s patch is out, we’ll update the article with the info, so stay tuned.

MLB The Show 24 Update 1.17 Released for Game Update 17 This July 30

San Diego Studio has deployed MLB The Show 24 update 1.17 (PS5 version 1.017, Xbox 1.0.107 ) today on all platforms, and this is for game update 17. Final Fantasy XIV Update 10.74 Ushers in Patch 7.05 This July 30

Treasure Hunt

Cenote Ja Ja Gural has been added.

Cenote Ja Ja Gural consists of a series of chambers sealed behind imposing stone doors. After clearing each chamber, players must choose a door to proceed. Behind the correct door lies further chambers and the promise of priceless treasures. Selecting the wrong door will trigger a fiendish trap, transporting treasure-seekers back to the surface.

This instance can be accessed after finding and opening treasure coffers obtained from br’aaxskin treasure maps.

Housing

Furnishings from the FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest have been added.

New furnishings have been added.

New orchestrion rolls have been added.

Actions and traits have been adjusted as follows:

Each action and trait is listed as it appears at level 100.

Paladin

Action Adjustment
Royal Authority Potency has been increased from 180 to 200.
Combo potency has been increased from 440 to 460.

Elden Ring Update 1.014 Rides Out for Patch 1.13, Here’s What New

FromSoftware Inc. and Bandai Namco have rolled out Elden Ring update 1.014 on all platforms this July 30 during maintenance, The devs are tagging this as patch version 1.13, and this adds the missing translator names in the end credits and more.

PvP-exclusive balance adjustments

Equipment

  • Increased poise damage of normal attacks for the following weapon types:
    Light Great Swords / Backhand Blades / Hand-to-Hand Arts / Beast Claws
  • Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks for the following weapon types:
    Straight Swords / Thrusting Swords / Curved Swords / Katanas / Spears / Whips / Fists / Claws
  • Increased poise damage of the Claws of Night throwing attacks.
  • Decreased the backstep invulnerability window when the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman or the Talisman of All Crucibles are equipped.

  • The second hit of the follow-up attack is now easier to land.

General balance adjustments

    • Needle Knight Leda / Pureblood Knight Ansbach / Thiollier
  • Increased the attack power and damage negation of summoned spirits, excluding the Mimic Tear, when the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing is at [5] or more.
  • Increased the attack power and damage negation of summoned spirits, excluding the Mimic Tear, when upgraded to “+8” or higher.

  • Added a damage hitbox to the hand portion of the ranged fist attack.

  • Increased poise damage of the swing portion of throwing attacks (the projectile is unchanged).

Spread Crossbow

  • Decreased the generated status buildup when used with Bolts that have status effects.

Ailment Talisman

  • After the onset of a status ailment, the status build up (or duration) of said ailment will now also be reduced immediately by a certain amount.

  • Fixed a bug where the Multiplayer area borders were different than intended in some areas.
  • Fixed a bug where the player would spawn in a different place than intended when invading another player’s world
  • Fixed a bug in the map menu that caused some NPC icons in the Realm of Shadow to not display properly.
  • Fixed a bug in the design of the map of Realm of Shadow and the “Map Fragment” icon.
  • Fixed a bug where some cutscenes were not displayed correctly under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed a bug where some sound effects did not play correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where some effects were not displayed correctly.
  • Several performance improvements and other bug fixes.

 

Steam-only adjustments

  • Fixed a bug where “Anti-aliasing Quality” was unintentionally set to “High” each time the game was restarted.

 

Correction of end credits

In update 1.12, an error was included in the credits of the game.

This issue will be corrected in the next update.

Possible unstable performance fixes

  • For the PS5 version of the game, unstable framerate may be improved by using the “Rebuild Database” option from the device’s safe mode.
  • In some PC versions, Ray Tracing may be unintentionally enabled and cause unstable performance. Please check the Ray Tracing setting in the “System” > “Graphics ” > “Ray Tracing Quality” from the title screen or in-game menu.
  • In the PC version, the message “Inappropriate activity detected” may appear without cheating.
  • To fix this issue, please verify the integrity of the game’s files before restarting the game.
  • In the PC version, unstable framerate may be caused by third party applications that control mouse behavior.  Deactivating these third party applications may improve performance. The version number of this update shown at the lower right corner of the Title Screen will be as follows:App Ver. 1.13

  • In PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions, Regulation files can be downloaded by logging in to the server.
  • If the Regulation Ver. listed in the lower right corner of the title screen is not1.13.1, please select LOGIN and apply the latest regulation before enjoying the game.

While FromSoftware hasn’t revealed the complete patch notes just yet, the studio did mention that an upcoming patch will add in the missing translator names from the end credits.

In addition to that, we are expecting bug fixes and a balance pass for some weapons to be part of the patch notes as well. Some of the things we are expecting:

  • Thorns, swift slash, blind spot and sleep arrows to be nerfed somewhat
  • Hitbox adjustment for Radahns
  • Hitbox adjustment for Gaius

Once the community adds some of the adjustments they’ve noticed, we’ll add it to the article. Expect the official patch notes to be released as we get nearer to the maintenance period’s completion time. Once it’s out, we’ll update the article to reflect it.

  • Fixed a bug in the map menu that caused some NPC icons in the Realm of Shadow to not display properly.

Steam-only adjustments

  • Fixed a bug where “Anti-aliasing Quality” was unintentionally set to “High” each time the game was restarted.

 

Correction of end credits

In update 1.12, an error was included in the credits of the game.

This issue will be corrected in the next update.

Possible unstable performance fixes

  • For the PS5 version of the game, unstable framerate may be improved by using the “Rebuild Database” option from the device’s safe mode.
  • In some PC versions, Ray Tracing may be unintentionally enabled and cause unstable performance. Please check the Ray Tracing setting in the “System” > “Graphics ” > “Ray Tracing Quality” from the title screen or in-game menu.
  • In the PC version, the message “Inappropriate activity detected” may appear without cheating.
  • To fix this issue, please verify the integrity of the game’s files before restarting the game.
  • In the PC version, unstable framerate may be caused by third party applications that control mouse behavior.  Deactivating these third party applications may improve performance. The version number of this update shown at the lower right corner of the Title Screen will be as follows:App Ver. 1.13

  • In PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions, Regulation files can be downloaded by logging in to the server.
  • If the Regulation Ver. listed in the lower right corner of the title screen is not1.13.1, please select LOGIN and apply the latest regulation before enjoying the game.

While FromSoftware hasn’t revealed the complete patch notes just yet, the studio did mention that an upcoming patch will add in the missing translator names from the end credits.

In addition to that, we are expecting bug fixes and a balance pass for some weapons to be part of the patch notes as well. Some of the things we are expecting:

  • Thorns, swift slash, blind spot and sleep arrows to be nerfed somewhat
  • Hitbox adjustment for Radahns
  • Hitbox adjustment for Gaius

Once the community adds some of the adjustments they’ve noticed, we’ll add it to the article. Expect the official patch notes to be released as we get nearer to the maintenance period’s completion time. Once it’s out, we’ll update the article to reflect it.

Elden Ring Servers Down for Maintenance and Patch 1.13 Roll Out This July 30

Bandai Namco has taken the Elden Ring servers down on all platforms, and this is for maintenance where a new patch (version 1.13) will be released by FromSoftware today, July 30. Read on for more info and the schedule.

Here’s the downtime schedule per Bandai Namco:

Start: July 30 at 12 am PDT/3 am EDT/9 am CEST/4 pm JST/3 pm HKT

Duration: 3 hours

No word yet on what patch 1.13 will bring, though Bandai Namco did confirm that some translators are missing in the end credits of the game, and their names will be added in an upcoming patch. That said, we are also expecting bug fixes to be part of the title update, and once the patch notes are live, we’ll add it to the article.

If maintenance is extended, we’ll update the article to reflect that as well, though we’re not expecting it to, as FromSoftware is pretty much on-the ball when it comes to these things.

Infernal Tank

Never satiated, Gutso has been hunting and consuming humans for many many ages. Driven by this hunger, genetic evolutions have taken this Klown to new levels of Konsumption. Gutso is a special character skin for the Tank Klown Type and is only cosmetic.

Maxis has pushed out The Sims 4 update 1.96 on consoles this July 29, and this brings another round of bug fixes to the base game, and other added content. While the patch notes aren’t as extensive as the previous patches released last week, there’s still some important fixes included.

In case you didn’t know, Maxis released two patches last week. The first one was for free content that included bug fixes, and the second one released a few days after touched on the flashing issue, which is resolved for consoles with today’s title update.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra to Be Published by Embracer-Owned Plaion

Announced a few months ago, Skydance New Media’s Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra now has a publisher, and it’s Embracer subsidiary, Plaion. While some might have assumed that Skydance would be publishing the title under its own publishing label, Skydance Interactive, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

No specifics were given, but Marvel Games boss Haluk Mentes did have a prepared statement, “”Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an exquisite and bold take on some of our most beloved and timeless characters. The world-class development talent of Skydance Games and global publishing capabilities of Plaion are an excellent team-up to ensure we deliver on the massive promise this game has. We’re excited to collaborate and bring Marvel 1943 to players around the world.”

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is an action game being developed by Skydance New Media, and development is being led by former Naughty Dog senior staff and Uncharted franchise creative directorAmy Hennig.

There’s still no release date set for Marvel 1943, but it’s targeting a 2025 release barring any delays. Given the talent involved, it’s hard not to get excited at what this new and original Marvel game will offer gamers.

While the official game description isn’t available yet, Skydance had this to say in a press release “In Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, players can look forward to exhilarating gameplay inspired by Marvel’s landmark comics, films, and television series. Releasing in 2025, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra captures all the action, excitement, and globe-trotting adventure that has delighted fans for decades.”

As for Plaion, the company’s recent games include Nobody Wants to Die, Payday 3 and Dead Island 2. The studio is also set to publish STALKER 2 and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.

Pacific Drive Update 1.006.004 Patch Notes for Version 1.6.4 Lists Various Bug Fixes for July 29

Pacific Drive update 1.006.004 has been released by Ironwood Studios, and this is for patch version 1.6.4! This brings various bug fixes to consoles and PC, with the major fixes such as the LIM Shield blueprint softlock issue being fixed and more.

Version 1.6.4 – Highlights
  • The LIM Shield blueprint issue that causes a softlock in the “Stablizing the Zone” mission has been fixed. Previous saves will also have the fix applied, and players will receive a new blueprint via Oppy’s Pneumatube.
  • A player condition issue that caused temporary invulnerability in the late game (keeping health at 36% permanently) has been patched.
  • Waypoints and subtitles no longer appear in photo mode.
Bugs and UX Fixes
  • Bug that prevented players from getting credit for learning the LIM Shield blueprint has been fixed.
  • Players that already attempted to learn the blueprint but did not receive credit will now have a new LIM Shield Blueprint available at the Pneumotube.
  • Picking up blueprints from the Pneumotube is now smoother.
  • Blueprint duplication from inventory and pneumotuube has been patched, no longer occurs
  • Issue that prevented player’s health from dropping below 36% without using the Lazarus Device have been fixed
  • The Trunk in a Trunk upgrade can no longer be purchased a second time from the Fabrication Station
  • Fixed issue where players using controllers could not move the camera in photomode if look controls were set to inverted.
  • Headlights painted black now appear with proper coloring when held in the player’s hands.
  • Log skewered cars can now be scanned.
  • Subtitles no longer appear in photo mode.
  • Waypoints no longer appear in photo mode.
  • Various fixes applied to fix crashes and stability.
Known Issues
  • AMD Driver 27.4.1 issues cause the game to crash on launch, performance issues
    – Temporary solution: Roll back drivers via AMD Adrenalin
  • In rare instances the Matter Deconstructor does not provide an appropriate amount of resources upon shredding an item
  • Rare instance of game settings being reset between game launch, or not applying properly
  • Hotbar scroll sometimes becomes stuck when using a controller
    – Temp solution: repeat input in the L/R direction on directional pad

That’s about it. Given we just got the big Dumpsters patch, don’t expect any major update outside of fixes for a while for the game.

Visual Concepts has pushed out NBA 2K24 update 1.017 this July 29, and as far as we’re aware, this patch is only for current-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) platforms only.

As expected, Visual Concepts has not mentioned what’s in today’s title update just yet, though we’re hoping that will change before the day ends. So far, the only announcement from the devs are about new Locker codes connected to Team USA’s Olympic journey:

While I’d love nothing more for Visual Concepts to release Team USA content into the game (for free), that seems highly unlikely. If we do get any official changelog or if we spot any changes noticed by the community, we’ll update the article. With NBA 2K25 set to release in September (full details here), don’t expect any major updates for NBA 2K24 outside of fixes.
